Abstract Text: | Tri-County Technical College acknowledged the need for development of adjunct instructors. Recognizing that these instructors have limited time to spend on campus and varying hours available for development, the College developed an online adjunct orientation using WebCT. The end product is an interactive, information-rich learning community that has assisted department chairs in bringing new instructors up-to-speed quickly and enhanced the teaching and learning in the classroom. This presentation will showcase the course and describe the results of its development and offering. |
