Abstract Text: | Members of the Education Department faculty closely integrate the use of WebCT in existing coursework to extend student learning, encourage thoughtful and reflective practices, enhance out-of-class experiences, and provide resources to students in the graduate and undergraduate programs. This consciously determined exposure to web-based learning resources also encourages students to take available on-line courses when campus attendance is not feasible. Placing syllabi and other course materials in WebCT is only the beginning. This presentation looks at the second year of a longitudinal study regarding faculty use with on-campus courses. |
