| Description: | The Education for Working Professionals program at Rensselaer has begun utilizing a synchronous, web based e-tool (Elluminate) to orient distance students to WebCT. Through the use of voice over IP, PowerPoint slides and application sharing, students can learn to use the features of WebCT. With application sharing, the student can actually practice using such features as the Drop Box or quizzes from their computer under the guidance of a remote instructor. |
