Abstract Text: | The Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) is a leading business school in Australia and the Asia Pacific region, driven by excellence in research and teaching in management education. We offer a full-time, face-to-face MBA program, a part-time distance MBA (Executive) program, an online Graduate Certificate in Change Management and various open Executive and tailored Corporate programs. This poster will explore the process of change that has taken place in the delivery and support of educational technology at the AGSM, since the introduction of WebCT in 2001. Its use has had a steady increase across the school's program areas since that time, with the transfer of our Graduate Certificate into WebCT and its current usage in a number of our open programs. Alongside the identified key drivers, Carlopio's (1994) model for change implementation will be applied to the process, seeking to provide a detailed framework of successful strategies and the identification of resistance factors around the introduction of technology in teaching. |
