Triple Migration

Description: The University of Texas at Dallas is in the midst of a triple migration of campus wide systems. We are migrating from WebCT Campus Edition 4.1 to WebCT Campus Edition 6 and from SCT Plus to Banner and SCT Mercury Message Broker(MMB) to LDI for e-Learning, with the WebCT and SCT MMB/LDI migrations happening simultaneously. Come hear about our successes...and learn from our mistakes.

Abstract Text: The University of Texas at Dallas is simultaneously moving from WebCT CE4.1 to WebCT CE6.0, from Mercury Message Broker to LDI for e-Learning for SIS integration, and from Campus Pipeline to Luminis III.3 for the campus portal, which will have single sign-on to WebCT CE6.0. In this session, we'll show some of the challenges this presented to the WebCT administration team, and how we worked through them.
