Abstract Text: | With over 3300 courses hosted, and a growth of 1320% since WebCT was first offered on campus in year 2000. A structured support model for this growth was inevitable to assist both faculty and students successfully. This poster session will detail the key factors in providing a proven support model in a decentralized environment at the University of British Columbia: a committee of faculty administrators; three different support models that include direct-to-user, direct support to faculty administrators, and working together with faculty administrators to support their users; different tiers of support within Information Technology. |
