Presentation Format:Panel
Topic:Enabling learning: Effective instructional practices and flexible design models
Target Audience:Course Designers, E-learning Managers, Faculty and Other Instructors, Institutional Research and Assessment Staff, K-12 Educational Staff, System Administrators
Appropriate Audience Level:Beginning or new users of WebCT, Experienced WebCT users
Abstract Text:In a nutshell, this is a Jeopardy game with special accommodations for the WebCT users both beginners and power users. As in past years there will be several teams each headed by a Dr. C panelist from the reverred forums. The audience involvement is always the most exciting element of this game because they cheer and now get to compete for special prizes when no team gives the correct answer.

We have chosem the panel format because in a way it is a panel and more importantly it gives ample time for the game without having to cut it short.

Stephen will begin as moderator with Jeanne and Donna assisting or changing places throughout the game.

One of the most intriguing outcomes we have experienced over the years is how many participants come up to us and say that they didn't realize they knew as much as they did about WebCT and online learning. This is one way to reassure them of their knowledge and the good jobs they are doing for their institutions.
