Detailed Description:Discussion of how to put together a Vista consortium to share hosting center(s). Includes issues related to initial/ongoing funding, service level agreements, planning upgrades, and problem resolution. This session seeks to identify good approaches to establishing and operating a WebCT Vista consortium.

Abstract Text:This session will involve an interactive discussion of how to put together a Vista consortium to share hosting center(s) at a statewide or system level. Included are issues related to obtaining initial and ongoing funding. This can involve state or federal funding proposals. Also discussed is how to charge back services to participating members. Service level agreements are an important element to negotiating expectations for all participants. The issues related to planning upgrades and problem resolution should also be discussed. Generally this session seeks to identify good approaches to establishing and operating a Vista consortium.
