Abstract Text: | The REPLIKA project (European Repository for Learning Innovation and Knowledge Acquisition) has pioneered the use of a digital repository and authoring tools to enable subject specialists, lecturers, trainers and teachers to create e-learning materials, targeted to meet the needs of learners.
It brings together ten partners in four European countries - UK, Czech Republic, Denmark and Spain. This project assesses the viability of cross-cultural sharing through technology and the issues of indexing, retrieval and reusability of Learning Objects.
