Detailed Description:Practical ideas and practices for persons responsible for building distance education programs will be shared. Activities in the workbook are intended to serve as an impetus for projects to work on when participants return to their institutions.

Abstract Text:Presentation, activities, and a workbook will be shared to help those with the task build successful Distance Education programs. We will share lessons learned and best practices at our institution. Our focuses are: departmental procedures, professional development, student success, and technical support. Our goal is to help attendees form strategies for the development or improvement of Distance Education programs at their own institutions.
