Detailed Description:Technology support for distance students has become a real issue for the University of South Dakota. With the increase in spyware and plug-in problems, students need special assistance. When do you tell them to seek a local technology expert if one is available?

Abstract Text:Support for distance learners has become a real issue for online nursing courses at University of South Dakota. The increase use of spyware and plug-ins has created an increasing number of technology issues within our nursing courses. In this roundtable, we will discuss best practices in handling students’ technology challenges. We will also brainstorm new solutions to this very complex issue in support for online learners.
