Detailed Description:Since 2001, two very diverse campuses in the University of Houston System have developed a successful partnership in order to upgrade from WebCT Campus Edition to WebCT Vista for over 25,000 students in more than 700 courses each semester. Panel members will share experiences, challenges, and unique opportunities of the partnership in the areas of administration, instructional design, training, and support of both enhanced and completely online courses.

Abstract Text:Since 2001, two very diverse campuses in the University of Houston System have developed a successful partnership in order to upgrade from WebCT Campus Edition to WebCT Vista for over 25,000 students in more than 700 courses each semester. The University of Houston is a large urban research institution with an enrollment of 35,000. University of Houston – Victoria is located 90 miles southwest of Houston and provides upper-level and graduate instruction to 1,600 students. Panel members will share experiences, challenges, and unique opportunities of the partnership in the areas of administration, instructional design, training, and support of both enhanced and completely online courses.
