Detailed Description:It is important that technology enhance your course in a manner that is not overwhelming to your students. Thus, this session will cover the DOs and DON’Ts of integrating technology into your WebCT courses. We will explore innovative uses of technology such as digital ink in blended, hybrid and purely online courses. The presentation will also focus on utilizing technology to save time by reducing redundant activities.

Abstract Text:Technology is a powerful enabler when used correctly. It is important that technology enhance your course in a manner that is not overwhelming to your students. When technology overwhelms a student it can hinder the learning process. Thus, this session will cover the DOs and DON’Ts of integrating technology into your WebCT courses. Both positive and negative uses of technology will be discussed. We will explore innovative uses of technology such as digital ink in blended, hybrid and purely online courses. The presentation will also focus on utilizing technology to save time by reducing redundant activities.
