Abstract Text:The Campus of the North (CUNORTE) of the University of Guadalajara was created in 2000, to support the northern part of our state, which, because of its geographical location, had been relegated for a long time. The CUNORTE was designed to be a "state-of-the art" complex, which provides students with all the technologies needed to improve their learning experience. Besides offering its students the best technology available, including online courses, CUNORTE has also been working to help the community of this area. It has implemented computer labs in remote and inaccesible areas, to bring information closer to the people. The process of moving all of our courses into WebCT has been a very rich experience, full of surprises. However we have all learned a great deal. 100% of CUNORTE courses are online in WebCT and we are committed to continue evolving.
