WebCT Version:
Abstract Text:As a WebCT trainer and course designer, I am often given a very specific course delivery goal and asked to come up with a solution in WebCT. With a little flexibility and creative thinking, there is rarely a request that can’t be met. Examples include using the Image Database to catalog bird calls (Orinthology) and using the Quiz tool to release a course contract and have it digitally “signed” before a student can access the rest of the course. The examples that will be given will cross a range of disciplines and course types. With participant input, I hope to generate even more great ideas for seeing courses anew! I’d be happy to present on any other topic that you see might fill an important topic gap. My “specialty” is “The Paperless Classroom.”
