| A-12: Service-Oriented Approaches, Web Services, and the Integrated Learning Architecture | |||
| Detailed Description: | Explore the possibilities of next-generation data exchange between learning management systems, assessment systems, and learner information systems. A number of open specifications have been available to support these systems (e.g. IMS Enterprise Services, IMS Question & Test Interoperability, and IMS Tools Interoperability Guidelines.) However, we have not yet addressed the issue of choreography between these specifications or real-time interaction independent of the data model being exchanged. This session explores the role that Web Services can play in the integration of all of these systems. | ||
