| Detailed Description: | Instructional Technology Services (ITS) at Texas A&M University supports the University's technology-mediated instruction efforts. Behind the scenes, system administrators and developers are creating technologies that facilitate the use and administration of WebCT Vista on campus. This session will present the tools and technologies ITS has created for WebCT Vista. Join a discussion of the back-end processes and see a demonstration of the user interface. | ||

| Abstract Text: | Instructional Technology Services (ITS) at Texas A&M University supports the technology-mediated instructional efforts on campus. While some of these efforts include working with individual faculty, system administrators and developers behind the scenes create technologies that facilitate the use and administration of WebCT Vista on campus. This session will present the tools and technologies ITS created for WebCT Vista. The tools include section management, enrollment management, opscan-gradebook integration, CAS authentication, integration with streaming media services and electronic grade submission. The presentation will include a discussion of the development process, description of the technologies used, demonstration of the user interface and future development efforts. | ||
