M-14: Using WebCT Tools to Support Students with Disabilities
Detailed Description:In 2003, the Disabilities Services Office at Ferris State University implemented the use of WebCT for online service delivery to students with disabilities. This session will demonstrate how WebCT enabled effective, efficient, and convenient communication pertaining to accommodation requests, counsel, advice, and education for students with disabilities.

Abstract Text:WebCT is an effective and efficient platform for record keeping and on-line delivery support for students with disabilities. WebCT tools can be used to serve, communicate, counsel/advise, inform, survey and educate students with disabilities. Seven WebCT Tools and Video Streaming comprise the Disabilities Services Offices (DSO) WebCT course.
