Detailed Description: | Developing an online course from scratch can be an intimidating task. Individual faculty members may not have the time, technical skills, or resources to build a state-of-the-art course. This task is further complicated in courses relying on high levels of interaction between students. This session will examine one instructor’s experience in building an online leadership course with the support of the university’s instructional technology department. Presenters will share the course development model, describe the challenges faced in building the online course, and highlight the technologies used. | ||

The faculty member and instructional designer will give an overview of the course development model at their institution, describe the challenges faced in building the online course, highlight the technologies used in the course, and demonstrate the course itself. | ||
