Abstract Text:CSU Chico is one of the original 14 WebCT Institutes. We have been a heavy user of WebCT Campus Edition since 1998. WebCT has been integrated with the campus portal, library and student information system for over 3 years. In the Spring of 2005 we chose to move to Vista 4.0. This session will describe how CSU Chico is managing the change for “Project Vista.” The session will include sharing our project management strategies, the formation of technical teams for implementation and integration, and program management teams for campus communications, faculty development, course migrations, training and support. Timelines and important decision points that had to be made along the way will also be shared. The objective of this session is to provide valuable information to those campuses who will also be migrating from Campus Edition to Vista. Lastly, we will share information on what our faculty and students have to say about moving to Vista after participating in our Vista 4 Spring 2006 pilot project.
